And, in the middle of all that, there's a question we don't always say out loud: “who will I walk with in this season?”
Surf Church Porto exists to be a simple answer to that question: a family that follows Jesus, opens the Bible, shares the table and welcomes locals and internationals in Matosinhos.
A new city needs more than a map
When we're new in a city, we do need directions. We need times, contacts and practical information. But we also need people.
We need a table where we can arrive without having everything explained. We need someone to ask our name. We need a community where faith isn't just an idea, but a shared journey.
You don't need to begin this season alone.
A Christian community for locals and internationals
Surf Church Porto is a PT/EN community. That means Portuguese, Brazilians, international students, families and people with different stories can take part in the same experience, without being separated by language.
Porto welcomes many people in transition. Some arrive to study. Others to work. Others because they're starting over. The church doesn't replace all the support a move requires, but it can be a family along the way.
